Royal Enfield is one of the oldest bike manufacturers in India. Its bikes hold a certain sense of emotion amongst buyers. The major contributor to Royal Enfield’s success has been the Bullet. It was Royal Enfield’s first bike, launched in 1949. The Bullet continues to go strong, but the brand is soon looking to bring its new generation. So, what all will the new Bullet get? In today’s article, let’s talk about the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350.

Retro looks with modern touch

Royal Enfield would like to keep the overall silhouette of the new Bullet similar to the current model. This design has worked for the brand, and it will look to continue that. However, the new one will be updated with some design elements borrowed from the Classic. The new Bullet would be built on the new J-platform. This new platform promises improved refinement and better-controlled vibrations. What about the dimensions? The wheelbase is expected to increase by 20mm.

New Bullet 350 – Engine

Royal Enfield has come a long way in terms of engine refinement. The new Bullet will come with a new 349cc, air-cooled, J-series engine. This engine is capable of producing 20bhp & 27Nm of torque. Royal Enfield already uses this engine on the Meteor 350 and the new Classic. Will Royal Enfield tune it differently? Probably yes for it to produce a unique thump, a signature Bullet characteristic.

Features

new Bullet 350

Currently, the Bullet 350 is the cheapest Royal Enfield bike that you can buy (this is however expected to change with the Hunter 350). Coming back to the features, it will mostly borrow its instrument cluster from the Classic 350. What else can it get? The bike could get an updated instrument console equipped with the brand’s tripper navigation and upgraded switchgears.

New Bullet 350 – Launch timeline and pricing

new Bullet 350

Currently, Royal Enfield is focusing on launching the Hunter 350. But there have been rumours that Royal Enfield could launch the new Bullet before the Hunter 350. These rumours stem from the teaser video of the Hunter 350 showing a poster saying ‘Bullet Meri Jaan’ on 5th August. So will Royal Enfield launch the new Bullet on 5th August? For that, we will have to wait. The day still remains and we will update as soon as the brand drops any new details about the new one. What about pricing? The new-generation Bullet 350 is expected to get a price hike of Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 because of electric start becoming standard. The new Bullet 350 might thus start from Rs 1.70 lakhs (ex-showroom).
