Kia Motors India has been in the need of new cars for a while now. Its products like the Seltos and Sonet are raking in good numbers for the brand. But Kia knows that it needs to keep on bringing new products to continue its momentum. In India, MPVs are quite popular, so Kia is working on an MPV. This MPV will be called the Carens. Kia is doing a global unveiling of the Carens on the 16th of December. Before the unveiling, Kia has started teasing the Carens on its social handles. Today it has revealed the design sketches of the Carens, giving big hints into what to expect. In today’s article, we will see the design sketches of the Kia Carens.
What do the Kia Carens design sketches reveal?
The sketches reveal an aggressive design language on the Carens like other Kia cars. At the front, it gets a small grille with a chrome strip below the grille. It will get a Y-shaped DRL integrated into the headlamp design. It gets an oval-shaped bumper grille. Coming to the side profile, it looks quite similar to the Seltos. The alloy wheels seem to be taken from the Sonet. At the rear, it gets LED taillamps with a connecting reflector strip in the middle.
The interior sketches reveal a modern dashboard layout with a big infotainment system in the middle. The infotainment system seems to be integrating into the instrument cluster like Seltos and Sonet. It will get a three-spoke steering wheel. Also, it seems to get a dual-tone dashboard. Another highlight seems to be the presence of a DCT gearbox lever.

Like all other Kia cars, it will come loaded with features.
