Tata Dark Edition

Tata Motors first launched the Harrier in their Dark Edition series and the car was instantly popular. Looking at the popularity of the Tata Harrier Dark Edition, they added three more cars to the Dark Edition series viz, Altroz, Nexon and Nexon EV. There are no changes in terms of features or mechanically. The cars get an all-black colour theme with black treatments on the alloy wheels and dark chrome on the hood of the vehicle. The interiors get a Granite Black colour theme while the Nexon EV gets blue accents on the interiors as well as on the exteriors. The XZ+ Dark Edition (petrol variant) of Nexon is priced at Rs 12.40 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) while the diesel top-end XZA+ Dark Edition is priced at Rs 16.12 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition is priced at Rs 17.14 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The Tata Altroz XZ+ (petrol) Dark Edition is priced at Rs.10.26 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Tata Safari Gold Edition

The Tata Safari Gold Edition gets gold cues all over. The grille, headlamp bezels, and the Tata logo get a golden finish. You get a ‘Gold’ badge above the front wheel arch and also on the roof rails. The Safari Gold Edition is available in two shades- white with a black roof and a coffee-inspired colour the brand calls Black Gold. There are gold elements on the interiors as well door handles, steering wheels, climate control vents. Also ‘#Gold’ is stitched on the headrest. The Tata Safari Gold edition is based on the top-end variants XZ+ / XZA+. This car gets all the features that are offered in the top-end variant. The SUV gets ventilated seats for the first and second row, wireless charging, air purifier, and wireless Apple Car Play & Android Auto. The Tata Safari Gold edition is priced at Rs 28.31 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) while the top-end variant XZA+ is priced at Rs 26.83 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Mahindra XUV700 Javelin

Mahindra launched XUV700 in August and gifted custom-made XUV700 to gold medalists in the Tokyo Olympics 2021 – Neeraj Chopra and Sumit Antil. They named this the Mahindra XUV700 Javelin Edition. The car gets gold elements instead of aluminum finish on the grille, on the side, it gets the badging of 87.58 and a person throwing the Javelin above the wheel Arch and tailgate for Neeraj Chopra and 68.55 for Sumit Antil to commemorate the distance they have achieved for the gold-winning javelin throw at the Tokyo Olympics. The interiors also get a similar badging on the dashboard on the passenger side. The tailgate gets gold elements in form of the Mahindra logo and the variant badging. The engine and features remain the same as the top-end AX7 variant. 

Kia Seltos X-Line

Kia launched a special edition of its popular SUV, the Seltos X-Line in September 2021. The Seltos get exclusive matte graphite color, Indigo Perra leatherette seats, 18-inch crystal cut alloy wheels with a matte finish, six airbags, premium eight-speaker Bose music system, 360-degree camera with blind-spot monitoring, and front parking sensors. The SUV also gets paddle shifters in the AT/DCT variants. The X-Line 1.4 DCT variant of Kia Seltos is priced at Rs 21.08 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) and the diesel variant X-Line 1.5 Automatic Torque Converter is priced at Rs 21.81 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Toyota Innova Crysta Limited Edition

Toyota Innova Crysta has been a very popular car from Toyota. They recently launched a limited edition which offers a complimentary package over the existing variants, for a limited time. The limited-edition gets features like a 360-degree camera, heads-up display unit (HUD), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), wireless phone charger, ambient colour lighting and an air ionizer. The Toyota Innova Crysta 2.7 GX Limited Edition is priced at Rs 20.57 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Volkswagen Vento Matt Edition

Volkswagen recently launched the Matte edition of Vento in India. The Volkswagen Vento Matte edition is all about cosmetic changes. The cabin and the engine remain unchanged. The car gets cosmetic updates like the carbon steel grey matte finish on the roof, fuel cap, front and rear bumper. The ORVMs and door handles get a black glossy finish. The Matte Edition is available above the Highline Plus variant and is priced at Rs 15.49 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
