Tata knows that it can’t let this momentum slip and is not taking any second chances. It is working on another facelift for the Nexon. Now we have another round of spy shots, but this time in the dark. In today’s article, let’s talk about the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift.
New spy shots
We have been covering the Nexon facelift for some time now. However, this time we have got night testing shots revealing the tail lamp design. The distance between the two LED tail lamp strips has increased a bit. The side profile doesn’t reveal any major changes barring the alloy wheel design. At the front, we can see the new DRL design and also LED headlamps which are missing in the current model.

Tata Nexon facelift 2023 – What else do we know?
The Nexon facelift exterior and interior have been spotted several times. In the interior, it has been spotted with a two-spoke steering wheel with a black element in the middle. Other expected features include a 360-degree camera, digital instrument cluster, paddle shifters, 10-inch infotainment system etc.
The Tata Nexon facelift is also expected to get a performance boost. According to reports, Tata could give the Nexon facelift the new 1.2-litre turbo petrol showcased at the Auto Expo. This engine is capable of producing 123bhp and 225Nm of torque, a significant jump from the current 118bhp and 170Nm of torque. Transmission options could include a manual and a DCA gearbox. The diesel engine option will continue to be the 1.5-litre unit capable of producing 113bhp and 260Nm of torque. Diesel engine could come with a manual and an AMT gearbox. Tata should try to bring at least an AT gearbox on the diesel engine too.
Tata Nexon facelift 2023 – Launch timeline
Tata has been tight-lipped about the launch timeline of the Nexon facelift. But according to rumours, Tata plans to launch the Nexon facelift by August 2023. This makes sense considering how many times the car has been spotted testing in recent times. In terms of price hikes, We can expect an addition of Rs 50k to 60k.
